Thunderstorms, Raw Food and God...

And as the afternoon drew in our two young (well one and a half...) adventurers began the first long drive to Sedona... They began in haste, blazing through the sunshine with the top down, never once looking back to the hustle of the big city. But as they round a particularly large rock the sky began to fall on their heads. A quick conversion of the car and they entered Red Rock country amidst thunderbolts and heavy showers, with Jimi Hendrix the perfect soundtrack to the freak weather system.

When they eventually arrived in the Heart-Chakra of the world, they were greeted by a softly spoken man named Bob, who shared more than a little with the lord himself. He told them of a place where they could find enlightenment through food, and after some misdirection they found themselves in a raw food cafe. Like sushi, but with more variety, they ate cold Kelp noodles and enchiladas washed down with tree root elixir. Some would say that the spirituality of the place had affected them, while others would simply gaze in awe as the epic journey continued....

MUCH more to follow ( Free Wi-Fi time is running out...)

  1. Nice shades, but the raw food sounds disgusting! Thoroughly enjoying this blog - it's almost as good as ER.
