We are officially checked in.
After dad's organisation skills amounting to packing AND getting his dollars in the morning, plus having to pack up the kitchen and bathroom (and 'the toe incident' more news and gory photos of which are soon to follow...) we actually had a surprisingly easy time of it, and even managed to get fat breakfasts in at giraffe... Currently just waiting around for the flight to start boarding, and i can already feel the baked beans greasing my arteries for the time in the air...
